Skill Development Program

The National Education Policy (NEP) emphasizes the holistic development of youth, aiming to increase the Gross Enrollment Ratio and enhance skill development to support the objectives of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Our institution, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), has made significant strides in this direction by introducing various initiatives designed to enrich both knowledge and soft skills among students. We have implemented a range of skill development activities, including spot reading, grooming sessions for language skills, and debate competitions. These activities are essential for integrating the diverse skills necessary to secure and retain employment and excel in professional settings. Our career counselors assist students in effectively incorporating these skills into their resumes. Additionally, we promote life skills through accessible courses in yoga, creating diverse opportunities in the job market and enhancing our students’ employability. Our curriculum is tailored to meet the practical demands of various careers, offering entrepreneurship opportunities, internships, and experiential learning through certificate programs and fieldwork. The college also empowers students through comprehensive career services and hosts workshops, training camps, and seminars aimed at fostering professionalism and a passion for skill acquisition. Recently, our Career Counseling and Placement Cell, guided by the IQAC, organized two week-long skill development programs in collaboration with local organizations, including Rice, Gen Next Information Technology, and Anudeep Foundation. These partnerships reflect our commitment to providing practical experiences, further enhanced by collaborations with businesses in the skill sector. In mentoring sessions, students receive tailored guidance to develop skills that improve their employability prospects. Our institution prioritizes skill development through partnerships with reputable academic and business organizations, fostering a proactive and forwardthinking approach. Furthermore, life skills activities such as gymnasium sessions and yoga contribute to students’ mental strength, health, and positive outlook, creating well-rounded individuals prepared for future challenges.
