Maintenance Policy
Proper infrastructure and equipment for learning are the pre-requisites for creating a suitable atmosphere for teaching and learning in the present scenario. Taking into consideration this particular aim, Falakata College has formulated a maintenance policy to ensure the proper service of the resource and amenities of the college. All the usable materials are duly repaired and maintained.
- The Principal is in charge of all maintenance work within the campus.
- Any maintenance or repair that requires to be done, is reported to the Principal by the concerned staff of the college.
- A meeting is convened by the Principal for the said work.
- The Principal assigns the duty of repairing, to the specific staff for maintenance, if it can be done internally. Otherwise, an externalagency, specialized in the said work is involved.
- IT infrastructure, CC TV cameras, computers, college website, Wi-Fi system etc. are either maintained by the service providers or through Annual Maintenance Contract.
- The Librarian looks after the maintenance of the library.
- Sports equipment are maintained by the concerned department.
- Equipment of NCC & NSS are maintained by the concerned CO-Ordinator & the ANO.
- Maintenance of playground is done by external agency.
